What does your prop mean to you?
My first Bible is my prop. This was given to me by a very dear friend three years ago and has become a very big part of my life.
What church do you attend?
I attend Sandy Beach Baptist Church, I am involved in kids church, Bible study, the music team, morning tea and “meet and greet”.
What is the best thing about STACS?
Working in a Christian environment, and having an amazing and supportive team to work with.
What is the best gift you have ever been given?
So many things to choose from, but I’d have to say firstly Jesus Christ entering my life, then my amazing children, grandchildren, my sister and my beautiful friends, last but not least my incredible loyal dog Gus.
My career journey to arrive at STACS
I accredited certificates as a child educator working within the ELYF program for 19 years, then took myself back into the education system and acquired more certificates directed around working with people in need. I started as an SRE teacher this year and that’s when I knew I would love to be working with children again, a dream came true – Teachers assistant at a Christian school.
A significant Bible verse to me
Matthew 17:20 – “Truly I tell you if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
