DESCRIPTION:As the Stage 5 NSW PDHPE syllabus mandates\, students are expected to participate in Aquatics as a component of their yearly programs. Since we live in an area which has many water environments especially rivers and the sea\, it is essential that students can swim to a basic level and have knowledge of survival techniques. This year\, Aquatics will be run for all Year 9 and 10 students on Friday 15th November at Woolgoolga Beach where students will train to receive the Ocean Safety Surfer Award. \nInformation: \n\nImportant dates:\n\nTuesday 29th October: Pre-test swim during PE lessons at South Grafton Pool. Must complete 200m Swim in under 5 minutes. Please remember to bring your swimmers\, goggles and towel for this lesson. \nFriday 15th November: OSSA Excursion – Woolgoolga. \n\n\nCost: The cost of this excursion is $25 ($15 OSSA course fee\, $7 bus and $3.00 pool entry). \nTiming:\n\nDepart from St. Andrews at 9:00am and \nReturn by 2.50pm for normal school buses\n\n\n\n

DESCRIPTION:St. Andrew’s Christian School is holding a  Pre-Prep 2020 Orientation Day on Friday 8 November from 9am-10.30am. \nPre-Prep\, which is run each Monday during the school term\, is open to children who have turned 3 years of age by 31 March 2020 and who are fully toilet trained. Pre-Prep is a one year program providing children with the opportunity to develop according to their individual needs and to prepare them for their entry into Prep at St.Andrew’s Christian School.  The daily program is pre-school in nature with learning occurring through free play opportunities. \nChildren attending the orientation day must be accompanied by a parent and bring with them morning tea\, a drink and hat. \nIf you are interested in attending on the day\, please RSVP to the School Office on 6643 4770. \nIn conjunction with this\, the school is also holding a Pre-Preparatory\, Preparatory and Kindergarten parent information evening on Monday 11th November 2019 commencing at 6.30pm in the Library.  Light refreshments will be provided.
