OPEN DAY TOMORROW!!!! The day will commence at 10 a.m. in the School Library where the Primary Choir will perform 2 of their songs. The choir won 1st place in the Small Schools Section at the Grafton Eisteddfod this year. There will also be a formal welcome by our Principal, Mr Lindsay and our P & F President, Debbie Simpson.
Visitors will be able to view our school in operation with events such as model solar cars, Food Technology, Science experiments, Indonesian Dancing and Toastmasters. Our Primary classes will showcase our Get Reading Right, 5 Minute Maths and Multi Lit Programs.
The day will end at 12 noon with a free BBQ lunch.

On Friday this week Years 8, 9, 10 and 11 will be travelling by bus to the Civic Centre in Lismore to watch a live performance of Shakespeare’s The Merchant of Venice, performed by the Bell Shakespeare Company. This is an exciting opportunity for students to experience live theatre, and will support students in their English studies.
The cost of the excursion is $30. A bus will be leaving school at 8.30 a.m. and should return by 3.15 p.m. Students should wear full formal uniform and bring a packed lunch.
It is very important that students attend this event.
Our Year 11 final exams for the preliminary year will commence on Monday 11th September. It is most important that our Year 11 students are thoroughly prepared for these important final exams.
