St Andrew's Christian School

This term at St. Andrew’s we introduced the DUO Award (Do Unto Others).  The award is for students who have shown that they serve the school community by caring and encouraging others in a positive manner.  The following students have been presented with DUO Awards this term:

Liam Johnston, Jasmine Johnstone, Grace-Ann Pegler, Ellie Murphy, Abbey Taylor, Tirzah McKenzie, Curran Sherriff, William Scott and Emma Child.  Well done to all these students.

Our Year 10 students had a wonderful week of work experience last week.  We would like to thank all the local businesses who accommodated our students for the week.

On Friday last week we had our school ANZAC Service.  The service was conducted by our Year 9 students who did an excellence job.  Thank you to Mrs Briony Fenton for organising this event.

Our students are also invited to attend the March and Service in South Grafton on ANZAC Day (Tuesday 25th April).  Students wishing to participate need to be dressed in their full school formal uniform, including a hat (tie for the boys) and drink bottle at 10.20 a.m. on the corner of Skinner and Spring Streets.

The Service at the Cenotaph will begin at 11.15 a.m.  Parents will need to collect their children at the conclusion of the Service.

A reminder that school commences for all students on Monday 24th April.

We wish all of our school families a happy and safe holiday period.
