Our Year 12 students have commenced their half yearly examinations. These exams will continue until Thursday 6th April.
Our Year 10 students are at work experience this week. The school appreciates the local business houses who accommodate our students for this important week.
The school will be holding our annual ANZAC Service on the last day of term, Friday 7th April. The service will be held at the school commencing at 9 a.m. and will conclude with light refreshments for our parents.
Our students are also invited to attend the March and Service in South Grafton on ANZAC Day (Tuesday 25th April). Students wishing to participate need to be dressed in their full school formal uniform, including a hat (tie for the boys) and drink bottle at 10.20 a.m. on the corner of Skinner and Spring Streets.
The Service at the Cenotaph will begin at 11.15 a.m. Parents will need to collect their children at the conclusion of the Service.
The members of the Student Council Representative have been invited to take part in the Clarence Valley Youth Forum today from 10 am – 12 pm at the Grafton Community Function Centre.
The aim of the forum is to hear what young people have to say about the positive and negative aspects of living in the Clarence Valley and hopefully find resources in the area to assist young people to contribute to making a positive change in their community. Members of the Clarence Youth Interagency will be present at the Forum. These representatives will play an active role in listening to the concerns of young people in the area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for our school and the youth of the Clarence Valley to be represented, heard and listened to in a positive manner.
Reminder to all of our school families that Term 2 commences for all students on Monday 24th April.
